After starting to watch doctor who when they re-released it with chris eccleston i was fascinated by the theory of aliens, parallel universes , everything. Im absolutely hooked and i think it is great for the imagination, for one day, who knows , we could be flying out there. The other day scientists came across the "super earth" which has possibility of holding us humans up there, as long as we dont kill that planet off we may be ok.
When discussing the controversial theories on the earth with a friend we happened to go on to the subject of doctor who. Of corse my favourite nemesis of the doctor has to be the wonderfully intelligent DALEKS a mutant form of the Kaleds created by the evil scientist Davro. We were talkin about the old series, and that was one topic i didnt know much about, so i found it to be my quest to research further into all the stories. As daleks are my favorite character i researched them first, and thanks to the great online encyclopedia Wikipedia i was able to get an insight into the stories of the past.
I found about the evil scientist Davros and the war of attrition on his planet when he created the daleks. So i then decided to find the episode "genesis of the daleks" on the internet, after a while of searching i found it, and it was an absolutely fantastic episode, tom baker was superb, and the evil daleks were at there best. However its a pity they always come back, must be quite annoying for the good old doc nowadays.
